To celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of the Communist Party of China, carry forward the fine tradition of patriotism, cultivate students’ great feelings of loving the Party and the country, create a good school cultural environment, and build a harmonious and perfect life, on October 20th, the history group and art group of the west campus held a revolutionary song competition in the 8th grade with the theme of ‘Passing on the Red Classics and Praising the Centenary of the Founding of the Party’.
To be concrete, the activity was hosted by two students, Xia Chenxi and Wang Congzhi. Twelve classes from Grade 8 each sent a team to participate, which was strongly supported by the school leaders, the head teachers of the 8th grade and all members of the history group and art group. The whole process of the activity was rigorous and well-organized in terms of the initial planning, publicity, the mid-term training, implementation and the final effect presentation. On the other hand, the children opened their hearts, released their energy, sang the red classics, and expressed their love for the Party and the motherland, which won the applause of the audience.
To conclude, this activity not only further stimulated students' interest in learning history, deepened their understanding of history and culture, improved their artistic accomplishment, but also imperceptibly sublimated their national pride and sincere emotion to the Party. Today we sing here with joy, and tomorrow we set sail. Therefore, let us join hands, pool our strength and shoulder the mission of rejuvenating the Chinese nation. Let’s make our great motherland more prosperous and strong!
